Pirates of the Stars and Sea
The Only Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Conference for Authors of Faith
Since it was founded in 2013, the Realm Makers Conference has provided thousands of authors with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to make a lasting impact with their stories. Every year, Realm Makers features best-selling keynote speakers, award-winning faculty, and dozens of opportunities to connect with industry professionals.
This year, for the first time ever, the Realm Makers community will be gathering virtually for our annual conference. We are so excited for this chance to hold Realm Makers for attendees no matter where they are in the world! The conference will look a bit different than it has in past years, but the fun, the community, and the connections will all be the same.
Whether you need guidance on your current work-in-progress, a chance to pitch your completed manuscript to an agent or publisher, or just a casual time to rest, refresh, and restore yourself, Realm Makers has what you’re looking for.
We are so excited to welcome Thomas Locke back to Realm Makers! Thomas Locke is the pseudonym for Davis Bunn, an award-winning novelist with total world-wide sales of eight million copies.
His work has been published in twenty languages, and critical acclaim includes four Christy Awards for excellence in fiction and his 2014 induction into the Christy Hall of Fame.
Thomas will not only be one of our keynote speakers this year, but he’s also teaching a continuing session on The Nuts and Bolts of Screenwriting! (Read More)
C.J. Redwine is the New York Times bestselling author of YA fantasy novels, including the Ravenspire series of fairytale retellings and the Defiance trilogy. She’s still waiting for her letter from Hogwarts. Currently, she lives in Nashville with her husband, five children, three pets, and a wardrobe that stubbornly refuses to lead to Narnia, no matter how many times she tries.
N. D. Wilson is the best-selling author of the “100 Cupboards” trilogy (now in more than twenty languages) and the acclaimed “Ashtown Burials” series (both from Random House). His first work of nonfiction was the ground-breaking Notes from the Tilt-a-Whirl (Thomas Nelson), which was adapted into the widely distributed “bookumentary” film of the same name.
